Date of data collection: Archived soils were recieved from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Beligum. The soil had been sampled 2002-2003. Extractions with CaCl2 were performed 2018-2019

Geographic location of data collection: Samples from several European countries, Belgium (Houthalen, Leuven), France (Montpellier, Vault de Lugny, Rots, Brécy), Germany (Gudow, Wincheringen), Greece (Souli), Italy (Aluminusa), Spain (Barcelona, Guadelajara), Sweden (Kövlinge), The Netherlands (Zegveld, Marknesse, Wageningen), United Kingdom (Nottingham, Rhydtalog, Woburn), Denmark (Hygum), Italy (Navicello)

Information about funding sources that supported the collection of the data: Data for the extractions funded by Gustaf Richerts Stiftelse and SGI
